Where I went to get to where I’m at…
Spokane, Washington 1981-2002
Photography is a huge part of my life. I converted my bedroom into a darkroom when I was in high school. I think the chemistry and gadgets just sucked me right in. After High school I studied at my local community college for a couple years but was looking for more.
Santa Barbara, California 2003-2005
I ventured down to Santa Barbara, California and graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in 2005 with a Bachelors in Professional Photography and Film. Santa Barbara is amazing! Go there… It’s one of the many “Spokane’s” of California. San Diego is too. I love it there!

Los Angeles, California 2005-2006
LA was ok. I learned a lot here about code, design, marketing, printing, and editing. I edited thousands of red carpet and Hollywood after party images. I got to see a lot of stars working there. Got to sit down with Shirley Temple and retouch an image of her. It was epic!

San Diego, California 2006-2011
San Diego is a great town for artists and this is where I opened my first studio, right downtown in the Gaslamp District. Had a spot in the historic city hall building. I mainly built and maintained corporate websites but also shot a lot of head shots and animated ad banners for ad campaigns.

Spokane, Washington 2012-Here for good
I left the field for a bit when I moved back to Spokane… Maybe to reboot my creative core. Tinted windows for a few years. Very glad to be concentrating on art and media again. My new venture into the sky with my FAA Part 107 will bring a lot more services to my clients. I’m extremely excited to start this journey from static media into smooth 4K video.
